Rialto F1 is a mid-season and mid-late maturing hybrid of sweet pepper, intended for cultivation in open ground. The plant is of medium height with large, dark green, wrinkled leaves. The fruits have an elongated-cuboid shape, hanging, with a glossy or slightly glossy surface. In technical maturity, they are green, and in biological maturity, they are vivid yellow with yellow flesh. Fruit weight ranges from 130 to 380 grams, length reaches 12-13 cm, diameter — 8-9 cm, wall thickness — 4-5 mm. The number of locules in the fruit — 3-4. The vegetative period of the hybrid is 95-110 days.
The hybrid is characterized by high yield and excellent taste qualities. Fresh fruits have good and outstanding flavor, while marinated fruits retain excellent taste characteristics. The fruits contain 6.8% dry matter, 3.5% total sugar, and 125-142 mg of ascorbic acid per 100 g of raw product, making them nutritious and beneficial. Marketable product yield reaches up to 93%, confirming the high efficiency of the hybrid.
Rialto F1 is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus (Tm0) and has moderate resistance to tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV). The hybrid remains productive throughout the entire summer season and demonstrates excellent results in various regions, including the North Caucasus and Lower Volga. Yield in these regions significantly exceeds standards, making Rialto F1 an attractive choice for farmers targeting fresh markets and processing.
