The vegetation period is 70-80 days from seedling transplanting, allowing for a relatively quick harvest. The plant is medium-sized, reaching a height of 70-80 cm, with a strong semi-open bush, well-developed root system, and a large number of leaves that effectively protect the fruit from excessive ultraviolet radiation and contribute to resistance against adverse growing conditions. Seeds do not require additional preparation, as they have a protective layer and are impregnated with growth stimulators. The fruit of Red Jewel pepper is large, cube-shaped, dense, and succulent. Their size reaches 9-12 cm in length and 9-10 cm in diameter, with an average weight ranging from 220 to 280 grams, and a wall thickness of 7-10 mm. The fruit color changes from bright green at the technical maturity stage to a deep red at biological maturity. The pepper has high flavor qualities that are retained after transportation and storage, making it popular for fresh consumption as well as processing, freezing, stuffing, and canning. The Red Jewel hybrid exhibits high productivity and stable fruit quality throughout the entire growing cycle. The plant shows resistance to major pepper diseases, including viruses TM:0,1, PVY:0,1,1-2, PepMoV, PepYMV, Xv:1,2,3, and resistance to TSWV.
