Sweet pepper Ilanga F1 is a medium-late hybrid with a cube-shaped form, developed by the Dutch breeding company Rijk Zwaan. The plant is determinate, with strong growth and a well-developed root system, ensuring good resistance to adverse growing conditions. Compact bushes with an open habit and well-developed foliage are especially important in hot weather. Ilanga F1 is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouse tunnels and low tunnels, without requiring staking or pruning.

The peppers have a cube shape with four chambers, reaching up to 10 cm in length and 9 cm in diameter, with wall thickness of 7-8 mm and weight ranging from 200 to 250 grams, sometimes up to 400 grams. The recommended planting density is 3 plants per square meter in protected cultivation and 30-35 thousand plants per hectare in open ground.
