PROTEY

Sweet pepper Protey F1 is an early-maturing and high-yielding hybrid suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in protected conditions. From germination to full fruit maturity, it takes approximately 110 days, allowing for a quick harvest of delicious and aromatic peppers. The plants are vigorous, reaching heights of 1.5-2 meters, with good root systems and minimal care requirements, simplifying cultivation and ensuring stable yields.

The fruits of Protey peppers have a distinctive horn-like shape, up to 15 cm long, 3-5 cm in diameter, and weighing 40-50 grams. They are glossy with a wall thickness of 4-5 mm, ensuring juiciness and firmness. In technical maturity, the fruits are green, and in biological maturity, they turn into a rich red hue. The peppers have a distinctly sweet and aromatic flavor, making them versatile for fresh consumption, grilling, and for canning or drying.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) and tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV). Additionally, it is heat- and drought-tolerant, enabling cultivation in various climatic conditions. For planting, pregerminated seeds should be used at a temperature of 25-28°C, with seedlings emerging within 10-15 days. The optimal planting density is 4 plants per square meter, with formation into three stems. The yield of this hybrid reaches 4.0-6.0 kg per square meter.
