Cabbage ELIZAVETA MALAKHOVA

A Compact Standard for the Fresh Market

Working with the 'Elizaveta Malakhova' variety is all about predictability and quality control. This white cabbage variety is specifically engineered for the fresh produce market. It is easy to manage: with a head weight ranging from 0.5 to 1.0 kg, it fits perfectly into the portion-sized category, which is currently in high demand across retail chains.

Operational Performance and Cultivation

The variety shows excellent uniformity, a key factor for professional growers. The blue-green leaf color gives the produce an attractive, fresh appearance, while the compact head shape minimizes the risk of mechanical damage during harvesting and logistics. The variety is highly adaptable to standard cultivation practices:

• Optimized plant spacing allows for efficient land utilization without compromising airflow between plants.
• Consistent head weight simplifies logistics: you get a uniform product that requires minimal sorting.
• The firm, compact structure makes the heads resistant to typical stresses associated with intensive farming.

Developed by the Federal Research Center for Horticulture (authors Temirbekova S. K., Kulikov I. M.), this variety ensures reliable results. For the grower, this means no size variations, which is critical when dealing with wholesale networks and restaurants. Managing a field of 'Elizaveta Malakhova' does not require any specific, complex skills—it is a dependable tool for any professional aiming to harvest dense, aesthetically pleasing heads that maintain their marketability from the field to the consumer's plate.
