Archy pepper is an early-maturing hybrid of sweet pepper, ripening 60-65 days after transplanting seedlings. The plants are compact, strong, with sturdy branches capable of supporting large fruits. The fruits have a cube-shaped form, reaching a weight of 220-250 grams, a length of about 11 cm, and a diameter of 9 cm, with a wall thickness of approximately 10 mm. In technical maturity, the fruits are milky-white, and in biological maturity, they turn into a rich, vibrant red color.
This variety is distinguished by its high commercial qualities: the fruits have excellent uniformity, storability, and transportability, making them convenient for storage and transportation. Archi pepper is resistant to blossom-end rot, tobacco mosaic virus, and bronze disease, which increases harvest reliability. The plants are semi-spreading, compact, and highly productive — yielding up to 8 kg per square meter in open ground and no less than 12 kg in protected conditions.
Archi pepper is renowned for its exceptional flavor: the fruits are sweet, juicy, and aromatic, making them versatile for culinary use. They are ideal for salads, baked dishes, and other recipes. Thanks to their disease resistance and good adaptation to various climatic conditions, this variety is suitable for both home cultivation and commercial farming.
