Philippok — an early hybrid of sweet pepper, primarily intended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses. The ripening period is 75-80 days from seedling emergence to fruiting. The plant has a height of 50-120 cm and is lightly branched, which facilitates care and shaping of the bush. Fruits have a cube-shaped or elongated-cube shape, weighing 50-60 g, measuring 3-5 cm in length, 3-4 cm in width, and 3-4 mm in wall thickness. Fruit color changes from green in the immature stage to dark red upon full ripening. Such fruits are ideal for whole-fruit canning.
Sowing for seedlings is recommended in early March, with transplanting at the cotyledon stage. Seedlings should be transplanted into the ground at the end of May, following a planting scheme of 30-40 cm. For optimal plant development, all side shoots and leaves should be removed before the first branching, promoting the formation of a strong and productive bush. Yield per plant reaches 1.0-1.2 kg, making this hybrid attractive for both commercial and home cultivation.
