Description Malyutka
The 'Malutka' pepper variety is a decorative spicy pepper characterized by its compact bush size and vibrant fruit color. Bushes typically reach a height of 20 to 50 cm, but under optimal conditions may grow up to 70–80 cm. The plant has small oval dark green leaves with possible purple tinge. Fruits are small, 1–2 cm in diameter, round or slightly elongated, changing color from dark purple almost black to bright red as they ripen. On one bush, fruits of different colors may be present simultaneously, giving the plant a decorative and eye-catching appearance.

This variety is distinguished by its high spiciness and intense hot flavor with possible fruity notes. The fruit flesh is juicy, making it popular in culinary use for making spicy sauces, seasonings, marinades, as well as for canning, stews, salads, and soups. Due to its compactness and decorative appeal, 'Malutka' is ideal for growing indoors on windowsills, balconies, and terraces, and can also serve as a kitchen or garden decoration.

Growing technique includes sowing seedlings in February–March, followed by transplanting into open ground after frost danger has passed. The plant prefers sunny, warm locations and fertile, well-drained soil. Watering should be regular but moderate to avoid overwatering. To maintain growth and fruiting, complex mineral fertilizers are recommended every 2–3 weeks. Harvesting occurs from July to September. In addition to its decorative and flavorful qualities, this variety is drought-resistant and rich in carotene, adding further advantages.
