RUZA

The 'Ruza' pepper is a fast-maturing hybrid specifically developed for cultivation in the Northern and Central regions of Russia, as well as in Eastern Siberia. The maturation period ranges from 82 to 104 days, enabling early harvests. The plant is tall, semi-erect with moderate leafiness, which promotes good air circulation and reduces disease risk. The hybrid boasts high yield — up to 22 kg per square meter, making it attractive for commercial cultivation and private farms.

The 'Ruza' pepper fruits are large, conical, weighing 90–100 grams and measuring 12–15 cm in length. They are fleshy with thick, juicy walls, ensuring excellent taste and good juiciness. At biological maturity, the fruits turn red. The hybrid exhibits low susceptibility to blossom end rot and verticillium wilt, enhancing plant resistance to adverse conditions and diseases. The pepper successfully sets fruit even under unfavorable weather and performs well in non-heated polyethylene greenhouses.

To achieve high-quality yields, avoid planting near hot pepper varieties, as cross-pollination may result in bitter-tasting fruits.
