The CAPITAL onion is a mid-early variety of leek intended for green stalk production during the spring-summer-autumn period, as well as under winter conditions in protected soil. The stalks have a dark blue-green color with a waxy bloom and an upright shape, which ensures ease of harvest and an attractive appearance. The white part of the stem is 8-10 cm long, and the taste of the stalk is soft with a slight spiciness, making it in demand both for fresh consumption and culinary use.

The variety is characterized by high yields, reaching up to 20 tons per hectare, and high plant uniformity. It is resistant to various adverse factors, including fungal diseases, yellowing, hot weather, cracking, lodging from wind, and powdery mildew.
