Radan

Radan F1 cabbage — an early-maturing hybrid of white cabbage, developed by the Dutch company Enza Zaden. This variety is characterized by its early maturity, with a vegetation period of 50–55 days from seedling transplanting. Open-type plants, strong-growing, with well-developed tall stems, which helps protect heads from rotting. The hybrid is resistant to various stress conditions, including water deficiency and excess, high temperatures, and minor frosts, allowing successful cultivation in different climatic zones, including the entire territory of Ukraine.

The heads of Radan F1 cabbage have a bright green color, round shape, and weight ranging from 1.0 to 1.8 kg. They are distinguished by high density, uniformity in shape and weight, resistance to cracking, and excellent taste. Due to these qualities, as well as good transportability and ability to remain fresh on the field for a long time, this cabbage is suitable for both fresh vegetable market sales and long-term storage.

The Radan F1 hybrid is versatile in agronomic terms: it can be grown both in open ground and under plastic or agrofiber covers. Plants adapt well to different soil types and demonstrate resistance to fungal diseases. The recommended planting density is 40–50 thousand plants per hectare, ensuring optimal growth and high yields of quality produce.
