Cintia F1

Cintia F1 is an early-maturing hybrid of sweet pepper, primarily intended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses, although in southern regions it can also be planted outdoors. Technical fruit maturity occurs approximately on the 58-70th day after germination, allowing for an early harvest. The hybrid is characterized by high market yield, reaching about 4 kg per square meter, making it attractive for gardeners and farmers.

Cintia F1 fruits have a distinctive trapezoidal shape with a pointed tip and downward orientation. They are three-chambered, fleshy, with wall thickness ranging from 5 to 8 millimeters, ensuring good fruit retention during harvest and transportation. Fruit length ranges from 14 to 20 centimeters, with diameter around 6-7 centimeters, and individual fruit weight varies from 150 to 200 grams. In technical maturity, fruits are yellow-white, while in biological maturity they turn deep red, making them appealing to consumers.

This hybrid is versatile in application: it is excellent for fresh consumption due to its pleasant taste and fleshy texture, as well as for canning. The small receptacle scar helps secure the fruit on the plant, reducing the risk of damage. Cintia F1 is recommended for seedling cultivation, which allows for controlled growth conditions and stable yields in greenhouse environments.
