CINTIS — an early-maturing hybrid of sweet pepper, primarily intended for cultivation via seedling method in plastic greenhouses, although in southern regions it can also be planted directly into open ground. Technical fruit maturity occurs approximately on the 58-70th day after germination, allowing for early harvest. The plant features a well-developed leaf canopy, ensuring good fruit nutrition and high marketable yield, reaching about 4 kg per square meter.
The fruits of CINTIS have a trapezoidal, drooping shape with a pointed tip and a small depression at the pedicel attachment point, which contributes to strong fruit retention and reduces the risk of damage during harvesting and transportation. In technical maturity, they are yellow-white, and in biological maturity, they turn a vibrant red. The peppers are three-chambered, fleshy, with wall thickness ranging from 5 to 8 millimeters, length from 13 to 20 centimeters, and diameter of about 6-7 centimeters. The weight of a single fruit varies from 150 to 200 grams, making them convenient for consumption and processing.
Due to its excellent taste and fleshy texture, CINTIS pepper is ideal for both fresh consumption and canning. Its versatility makes this hybrid an attractive choice for gardeners aiming to obtain an early and abundant harvest of high-quality fruits with an appealing appearance and good storability.
