Chervonyj dyvosvyt

The "Red Divosvit" pepper variety is a mid-late, high-yielding type with a bushy plant that does not require staking. The fruits have a cubic shape and weigh between 220 to 270 grams. In technical ripeness, they are dark green, and in biological ripeness, they reach a rich dark red hue. Each plant produces 5-6 well-developed fruits with walls up to 10 mm thick, making them suitable for both fresh consumption and canning.

This variety is grown using seedling methods, both in open ground and greenhouses. The optimal temperature for seed germination is +13°C, and for active growth and development of plants — from +25 to +30°C. At temperatures above +35°C, flower and fruit drop may occur, and at temperatures dropping to +15°C and below, plant growth slows or stops. Adequate soil moisture and high light exposure are essential for achieving a high-quality harvest.

Particular attention should be paid to soil fertility and nutrient content. Best results are achieved on light soils with neutral pH and sufficient organic fertilizers. Nitrogen promotes vegetative growth and increases fruit set, phosphorus accelerates ripening and enhances productivity, while calcium and magnesium are necessary throughout the plant’s growth period.
