Thanks to the dwarfism gene and columnar shape, the plant is characterized by slow growth and ease of care, making it ideal for limited spaces and intensive gardening. Yamal pear fruits are large, have a greenish-yellow color and ripen in the late autumn period. The flesh of the fruits is creamy, juicy and tender, with an acid-sweet taste and medium aroma, making them attractive for table use. Sugar content in fruits reaches 9.6%, while acid level is about 0.6%, ensuring a harmonious taste. The tasting score of the variety is 4.4 points, confirming the high quality and taste merits of the fruits.

The Yamal variety is characterized by high yield, which on average reaches 502.5 centners per hectare. Thanks to its characteristics, pear is suitable for growing in the Central Black Earth region and other zones with similar climatic conditions.
