Description Red Haven
Introduced in the United States in the state of Michigan in 1940 by crossing the varieties Hale Haven and Cal Haven. Introduced into the State Register in 1992 for the North Caucasus region.

Medium-sized tree with a medium-dense, flat-round crown. Leaves are large, lanceolate, green, glossy, with finely serrated edges. Flowers are medium-sized, bell-shaped.
Fruits are medium to large (72 x 68 x 70 mm), weighing 113-170 g, evenly shaped, round-oval, slightly asymmetric. The fruit apex has a small depression, sometimes with a small bump. The ventral suture is shallow. The pit is of medium width and depth. The skin is firm, yellow with a bright red diffuse blush covering more than 50% of the fruit surface, with fine downy hairs. The flesh is yellow with raspberry veins, medium firmness and juiciness, with very good flavor. The pit is semi-detachable, large, inversely egg-shaped, with a pointed apex and a slanted base. Fruits are transportable and suitable for both table and canning use.
They ripen in early August. Yield is high. Cold hardiness is below average. Drought tolerance is medium. Not resistant to cracking. Resistance to powdery mildew and clasterosporiosis is medium.
