Local, native selection, canning variety. Introduced into the State Register in 1947 for the North Caucasus region (only for the mountain valleys of Dagestan).
Trees are vigorous, with a broad, spreading crown.
Fruits are large, 150 g, spherical in shape. The skin is moderately hairy, medium-thick, firm, does not detach from the fruit, golden-yellow in color. Flesh is yellow, firm, slightly fibrous, low in juice, with medium sugar and acidity. Pit is large and does not detach from the flesh. Fruits contain 12.74% dry matter, 10.24% sugars, 0.54% acids, and 18.99 mg/100g ascorbic acid. Transportable, storage life 10-10 days.
Enters fruiting on the 3-4th year. Fruits ripen from September 15-20. High yield — up to 200 centners/ha. Good winter hardiness of generative buds. Weak resistance to fungal diseases. Good resistance to fungal diseases in mountain valleys.
