Peach POMELO

Pomelo is a large tree with an oval-shaped crown, known for its early fruit maturation. The fruits are medium-sized, averaging around 135 grams, with an oval shape and attractive coloration: predominantly yellow with a crimson blush covering 50-75% of the surface. The skin is of medium thickness and easily separates from the fruit, while the flesh is yellow, juicy, and tender, featuring a balanced flavor rated at 4.4 points. The seed is of medium size and fits closely against the flesh. This variety is valued for its high commercial fruit quality and is suitable for both fresh consumption and making juices and purees. The yield is approximately 122 centners per hectare, with ripening occurring in the first or second decade of July. Frost resistance and disease tolerance of the variety are moderate.
