The 'Chariwnik' peach variety is an early-ripening dessert variety developed in Ukraine, with fruit maturing in mid-July, approximately from the 15th to 17th. Being one of the earliest maturing varieties, it ripens 14 days earlier than the Redhaven variety. Trees of this variety are characterized by high winter hardiness and disease resistance, making them suitable for cultivation in various regions of Ukraine. The variety is self-fertile, ensuring high yields, especially from the third year onwards, and the fruit holds well on the tree without dropping. The 'Chariwnik' peach fruits are large, weighing 200–250 grams, with a round-oval, symmetrical shape. Their color is light yellow with a greenish tint and a marbled pink blush covering approximately half the fruit. The skin is of medium thickness with moderate fuzz, elastic, and easily separates from the fruit. The flesh is white, very juicy, tender, and aromatic, with a soft texture and honey-like flavor, making this variety especially attractive for fresh consumption. The stone separates easily from the flesh when ripe. The 'Chariwnik' peach is recommended for both fresh consumption and processing into preserves and other products. Although the fruits have low transportability, they are ideal for local consumption. The variety is low-maintenance, highly productive, and resistant to major fungal diseases, making it an excellent choice for gardeners seeking a high-quality and flavorful harvest.
