Field pea Kamerton

Efficiency and Yield: The Kamerton Advantage

Kamerton pea is a breeding success from the V. Ya. Yuriev Plant Production Institute, designed for farmers who prioritize harvesting efficiency and grain quality. The primary advantage of this variety is its semi-leafless (afila) type. This plant architecture provides excellent lodging resistance, making it highly suitable for modern high-intensity farming operations.

Practical Benefits for Your Farm

• Optimized Harvesting: With its leafless structure and resistance to shattering, Kamerton is perfectly adapted for direct combining. This eliminates the need for swathing, significantly reducing machinery costs and grain loss during the harvesting phase.
• Technical Reliability: Strong genetic resistance to root rot and ascochyta blight ensures stable yields even under challenging phytosanitary conditions. This reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications, optimizing your production costs.
• Grain Quality: With a thousand-grain weight of 220–240 grams and a protein content of 22–24%, Kamerton meets both feed and food industry standards, ensuring market demand.

Kamerton is the preferred choice for producers focused on technological performance. Its height promotes optimal stand density, while its natural disease resistance guarantees consistent results. By selecting Kamerton, you are investing in a variety that streamlines the harvesting process and delivers high-quality commodity grain with minimal operational risks.
