MossPop parsley is an early-maturing and high-yielding trailing variety, distinguished by its frost resistance and ability to form a large rosette with numerous leaves. This variety is characterized by intense green coloration and rapid regrowth after cutting, making it especially attractive for cultivation both outdoors and indoors. The vegetation period from emergence to technical maturity is 55-65 days, with seedlings appearing within 15-20 days after sowing at temperatures from +1 to +5°C. MossPop seeds have high germination rates and meet quality standards, allowing their use for sowing on various soil types. The recommended sowing rate is 0.5 g per square meter, with seed depth of 1.5-2 cm. The variety tolerates minor frosts and can overwinter under a snow cover, enabling winter sowing with an increased sowing rate of approximately 20%. For optimal growth, plants require moist soil and sunny locations, although they can also grow in partial shade. Thinning is performed at the 2-3 leaf stage, leaving the strongest plants spaced 3-4 cm apart. MossPop is widely used for producing greens, salads, and other parsley-based products due to its high aroma and flavor. Leaves of this variety are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for processing and freezing. The root of this variety is branched and not intended for food use.
