It is also suitable for preservation, freezing, and drying, which allows it to retain its aroma and beneficial properties for a long time. The plant contains important nutrients such as carotene and vitamin C, as well as minerals and essential oils with a characteristic scent and medicinal properties.
In addition to culinary use, petrosel 'Natalka' has medicinal applications. Essential oil is used in the fight against malaria, roots are used for kidney diseases and as a mild laxative. Seeds and essences of the plant have diuretic effects. Leaves aid in wound healing and reduce inflammation and pain from insect bites.
