Description Zagrava
Zagra onion is a medium-late and early maturing variety with round bulbs. The weight of one bulb ranges from 40 to 160 grams, with an average marketable bulb weight of about 160 grams. Bulbs are white in color and flat-round in shape, reaching approximately 6.4 cm in height and about 5.6 cm in diameter. The plant has a long, upright stem with a thick neck, and its leaves are bright green with a waxy coating. The dry onion skin adheres loosely, facilitating easy cleaning.

The Zagra variety is characterized by high yield — up to 5 kg of onions per square meter. It has a medium level of spiciness, which may increase under insufficient watering. It is recommended to plant in open ground in early May. The onion is resistant to various diseases and pests, contributing to a stable and high-quality harvest.

One of the key advantages of this variety is its excellent storability and long-term storage capability — up to 8-10 months while maintaining marketable quality at 97-98%. This makes Zagra a universal variety suitable for all types of processing and long-term use. Seeds are supplied in convenient packaging with a Zip-lock closure, ensuring their preservation and ease of storage.
