Description Ibis
Ibis F1 Onion — this is a medium-early hybrid of winter bulb onion, developed by the Dutch selection company Hazera. It is intended for cultivation in open ground in various agroclimatic zones of Ukraine. The plant is characterized by a well-developed root system and a significant leaf apparatus, which contributes to active bulb mass accumulation upon warming. Ibis F1 onion is frost-resistant, does not tend to bolt, and is resistant to diseases such as downy mildew and root rot.

Ibis F1 onion seeds are recommended to be sown in the second half of August and until the end of September at a seeding rate of 1.0–1.25 million seeds per hectare. The vegetative period of the hybrid is 110–115 days. The bulbs have a round shape, average weight of 140–150 grams, and diameter of 65–72 mm. They are covered with dense dark-bronze scales, and the inner part has a firm and crisp texture. The thin neck of the bulb facilitates harvesting and storage, and the onion is suitable for fresh consumption and can be stored for a long time.

Ibis F1 onion is valued for its excellent taste, which combines mild spiciness with moderate sweetness. It is versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption, cooking, freezing, and drying for seasoning. Thanks to its qualities and resistance to adverse conditions, this hybrid provides a stable and early yield, in demand on the market.
