Onion SPENISH MEDALION F1

Reliability in the Industrial Processing Sector

Japanese breeding from Sakata has long been synonymous with excellence in professional vegetable cultivation. The «Spanish Medallion F1» onion hybrid is a classic representative of the «Spanish» type, engineered specifically for those who prioritize efficiency and yield consistency. In a competitive market where processing standards are strictly defined, this hybrid stands out due to its resilience and predictable performance.

Agronomic Potential and Performance

With a maturation period of 100–110 days, «Spanish Medallion F1» is classified as a medium-day hybrid, making it highly adaptable across various climatic regions. Its true value lies in its exceptional productivity: under proper management, yields can exceed 100 tons per hectare. This level of output makes it a preferred choice for large-scale farming operations focused on industrial throughput.

Disease Resistance and Quality Standards

• Genetic Protection: The hybrid features robust resistance to Fusarium wilt and pink root rot, significantly mitigating crop loss risks during the growing season.
• Post-Harvest Quality: The bulbs are characterized by a uniform round shape and a dense, dark-bronze outer skin. The interior flesh is crisp and bright white, maintaining high quality during storage, which is vital for industrial processing requirements.

By choosing «Spanish Medallion F1», producers invest in a reliable solution that meets industry demands for firmness, disease resistance, and high-volume yields, ensuring stability from the field to the processing facility.
