Onion Redesco

Dutch breeding of the new generation

Redesco is a fresh perspective on professional onion production from the experts at Hazera Seeds B.V. Officially registered in Ukraine in 2025, this hybrid is the result of years of breeding work by Dutch specialists. Created using F1 technology, this onion is designed to meet modern agricultural requirements, where both yield and predictable crop development are paramount.

Morphological features and development

In the field, Redesco demonstrates the stability characteristic of premium European breeding. The plant forms an average number of leaves with a semi-erect position, which promotes optimal crop ventilation. A strong waxy bloom serves as a reliable barrier against external stressors, while the intense green color of the foliage indicates high photosynthetic potential.

Marketable bulb characteristics

The key value of this hybrid lies in the quality of its marketable produce:

• Shape: Perfectly round, with a symmetrical base and top, making the bulb highly attractive for retail.
• Structure: Medium size and a harmonious height-to-diameter ratio ensure convenience during packaging and transportation.
• Integrity: Genetically inherent resistance to splitting guarantees a uniform harvest without deformed specimens.
• Neck: The medium neck width facilitates proper maturation and long-term storage.

Redesco is the choice for farmers who prioritize technological efficiency and compliance with UPOV standards, ensuring consistent results on every hectare.
