Onion Reddon F1

A Reliable Red Onion Hybrid for the Professional Market

Reddon F1 from the Dutch breeding company Bejo has firmly established a reputation as a dependable solution for growers specializing in intermediate-day red onions. Developed for conditions that require a combination of attractive market appearance and resistance to soil-borne pathogens, this hybrid has become a staple in the intensive onion farming segment.

Crop Health and Yield Potential

One of the key strengths of Reddon F1 is its robust immunity. Bejo’s breeders have focused heavily on protecting the root system, which is critical in modern vegetable production. The hybrid shows significant resistance to pink root rot, as well as effective protection against fusarium and fusarium wilt. This makes it an optimal choice for fields with high disease pressure, where other varieties might suffer significant losses due to various rots.
