Onion Prelesco

Onion for Professional Storage and Processing

The «Prelesko» F1 hybrid from the breeding house Hazera Seeds B.V. is a response to the demands of modern farmers focused on long-term sales cycles. Registered in Ukraine in 2026, this onion demonstrates exceptional storage capabilities, making it a strategic choice for farms planning sales throughout the winter and spring seasons.

Marketability and Culinary Properties

The external characteristics of «Prelesko» allow it to compete confidently on supermarket shelves and wholesale markets. The bulbs have a dense structure and an attractive golden skin color, which reliably protects the product during mechanized harvesting and long-distance transportation. The high density of the outer scales minimizes the risk of damage, maintaining a premium appearance even after extended periods in storage facilities.

Crop Utilization

• Fresh Market: The ideal shape and uniformity of the bulbs make this hybrid perfect for mesh packaging and other retail-ready formats.
• Processing: Due to its high dry matter content, «Prelesko» is excellent for industrial processing, including drying and the production of semi-finished goods.
• Storage: Genetic resistance to sprouting and decay ensures stable product quality until the end of the storage season without compromising flavor profiles.

By choosing «Prelesko», producers secure a predictable outcome: a stable yield of marketable produce that retains its quality from the moment of harvest until it reaches the consumer's table.
