The "Poker" onion rosette reaches a diameter of 15-20 cm and consists of 12 leaves when grown in protected ground and 20-28 leaves in the open. The stem is branched, reaching a height of 40 to 80 cm. The leaves are large, green, and juicy with a characteristic mustard-olive aftertaste that adds special zest to dishes. Thanks to its delicate taste, the variety is widely used in cooking, including preparing salads, sandwiches, and spicy sides for meat and fish dishes.

The fruit of the "Poker" onion is an indehiscent pod containing about 30 seeds that retain viability for up to 4 years. The average mass of one plant is about 20 grams. The seeding rate is 1.3 kg per hectare or 30-40 seeds per pot when using flow culture. This variety is highly in demand in the restaurant business due to its taste qualities and versatility.
