Onion SINGYI 2 HO

Focus on High Yield and Versatility

For commercial farms aiming for premium-quality produce, the "SINGI 2 HO" variety by Seedon offers a balanced solution for modern vegetable production. Its key strength lies in its adaptability to various end-use scenarios, ranging from fresh market sales to industrial processing requirements.

Cultivation Economics and Agronomy

With a maturity cycle of 90–100 days, this hybrid shows excellent biomass accumulation dynamics. Yields exceeding 100 tons per hectare make it a competitive asset in intensive farming. A critical technical advantage is its suitability for mechanized harvesting: the round to round-cuboid shape, combined with dense, bright-brown skins, minimizes damage during combine operations.

• Disease Resistance: The variety exhibits significant resistance to powdery mildew, effectively reducing the need for chemical interventions during the growing season.
• Storage Capacity: With a shelf life of 6–7 months under proper storage conditions, growers can bypass the post-harvest price slump and sell when the market conditions are most favorable.
• End-Use: The crisp, white internal flesh makes it a perfect choice for the salad market, while its durable outer layers ensure ease of logistics and transport.

"SINGI 2 HO" is an ideal choice for growers who need a high-performance crop that bridges the gap between early market availability and long-term storage potential.
