The onion variety "Molodo-Zeleno" represents a special early variety intended for obtaining juicy and fresh greens. This variety is universal and suitable for growing in open ground, greenhouses, as well as in balcony containers, making it accessible for various conditions and types of gardens. Plants reach a height of 50-60 cm, while greens form as early as 35-45 days after seedling emergence, ensuring a high yield of tender and quality foliage.
The leaves of the "Molodo-Zeleno" onion are distinguished by high quality: they are tender, do not toughen for long, have a pleasant semi-spicy taste and moderate onion aroma. The excellent appearance of the greens is maintained for a sufficiently long time, which is an important advantage for gardeners selling surplus produce in the market. This allows to preserve the freshness and attractiveness of the greens when selling or using at home.
After 60 days from seedling emergence, the foliage begins to droop, and if the greens are harvested late, silvery-white bulbs 2-3 cm in diameter and weighing about 20 g are formed.
