Scarb Ukraine

The oat variety 'Scarb Ukraine' of the naked grain type was included in the Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine in 2011 and is characterized by an erect habit with a plant height of 115-125 cm. This variety lacks or rarely has a twisted disk leaflet, and the leaf blade margin on lower leaves is absent or very weak. The panicle is 19-27 cm long, the glumes are long, and the color of the lower floret glume is white. The primary grain has medium basal hairs and a short second grain stalk. The maturity period is medium, amounting to 88-96 days in the forest-steppe zone, allowing effective use of the agronomic cycle.
