Description MARUChAK
Spring oats of the MARUChAK variety represent a mid-early, tall variety of oats (Avena sativa L.), intended for grain and green fodder cultivation. It is recommended for growing in the Altai Krai and Kemerovo Oblast regions, and is included in the State Register for the West Siberia region. The growing period of the variety ranges from 63 to 87 days, ensuring early ripening. The plant features a medium stem length with high lodging resistance, and the ear is semi-one-sided with semi-raised branch arrangement. The grain is large, with the weight of 1000 grains varying from 30 to 49 grams, and the grain natural density is 520-580 g/L. Protein content in the grain reaches 14.0%, making it nutritious and valuable for fodder purposes.

The MARUChAK variety has good drought resistance, allowing successful cultivation under various climatic conditions in West Siberia. Despite high productivity, the variety is susceptible to certain diseases, such as powdery and hard smut, as well as crown rust, which requires attention during agrotechnical measures. The average grain yield in the West Siberian region reaches 40.8 centners per hectare, confirming its high productivity.

Due to high nutrient content and early ripening, oats MARUChAK are an excellent choice for animal feeding. Their grain is suitable for inclusion in compound feeds, especially for young stock and lactating cows, providing a high-energy and nutritious base. Thus, the MARUChAK variety combines high yield, grain quality, and adaptability to growing conditions, making it in demand in Russian agriculture.
