Spring Oat LYGOVSKIY 82® is a medium-maturing, dwarf grain-forage variety developed by individual selection from a hybrid population. It is characterized by high yield, which in various regions ranges from 19.3 to 75.9 c/ha, exceeding the indicators of similar varieties. The mass of 1000 seeds varies within 32-41 g, and the protein content is 12.5-13.0%, ensuring good grain quality for feed purposes.
The variety is resistant to a number of diseases, including crown rust, powdery black lichen, dark brown spot, stem rust, and root rots. However, it is highly susceptible to loose smut. LYGOVSKIY 82® has increased resistance to lodging, which helps preserve the crop and facilitates harvesting. Plant height ranges from 61 to 134 cm, making the variety convenient for mechanized cultivation.
This oat is adapted for cultivation in various climatic conditions and on different soil types, including arid and moderate regions. It is recommended for intensive cultivation technologies and suitable for sowing in the Central Black Earth and Middle Volga regions, as well as in the Lipetsk, Oryol, and Penza regions. Thanks to its characteristics, the LYGOVSKIY 82® variety is a reliable choice for obtaining stable and high oat yields.
