Sallust mustard "Zoryanka" is an annual frost-hardy plant with fast-maturing leaves that reach a height of 20‑30 cm and a length of 10‑15 cm within 15–23 days after sowing. The leaves have a light green color, wavy edges, and a slightly lobed shape, imparting a vibrant texture and zesty flavor to salads.
The variety is distinguished by high yield – up to 3 kg/m² – due to rapid growth and cold resistance. It grows excellently in fertile, well-drained soil with moderate watering and regular mineral fertilization. Sowing can be done both in open ground and for seedlings; the plant is easily cultivated even under home conditions.
Young mustard leaves are used fresh in salads, sandwiches, and meat and fish dishes, and can also be boiled or salted for canning. Due to their content of vitamins C, A, B, calcium, and iron, they promote improved digestion, strengthen the immune system, and possess anti-inflammatory properties. Mustard "Zoryanka" is a universal ingredient that adds a vibrant zest and beneficial properties to dishes.
