«JUNA» mustard is a winter Sarepta culture of variety type 0, known for its high productivity and resistance to low temperatures. The seeds have an oil content ranging from 43.9% to 48%, while erucic acid content is absent, making the resulting oil suitable for food use. The vegetation period is approximately 270–275 days, and plants reach a tall height with a medium placement of the first branching.
The variety is distinguished by its resistance to major pathogens, such as alternaria and powdery mildew, as well as to shattering. This allows maintaining yield even under unfavorable conditions during the ripening and harvesting period. Seed yield ranges from 30 to 40 c/ha, the average weight of 1000 seeds is about 3.5–4 g, and green mass reaches 65–70 t/ha.
The obtained meal (cake) is suitable for producing table mustard and can be used as a feed concentrate in animal husbandry. Due to its high oil content and cold resistance, «JUNA» is an attractive choice for farmers seeking to increase the productivity and quality of their products.
