Mustard greens "Chastushka" – an early-maturing, high-yielding variety with excellent cold hardiness. The period from germination to the first harvest is 25‑32 days, allowing for quick fresh green production. Yield reaches 3.5–4 kg/m², and leaf rosettes up to 35 cm tall with a mass of 130–160 g feature large ruffled leaves.
The leaf tissue is tender, juicy, and aromatic with a characteristic mustard flavor. Thanks to a rich complex of vitamins, trace elements, and mineral salts, "Chastushka" greens are suitable for sandwiches, salads, and side dishes when fresh.
To obtain quality greens, sowing seeds in open ground at a depth of 1–1.5 cm at the earliest possible time is recommended. Seedlings are thinned at the stage of two to three true leaves, and for continuous production, repeated sowings are conducted with an interval of 2 weeks until the end of August. Plants require timely watering, weeding, loosening, and fertilizing, which ensures stable growth and high crop quality.
