Description Super Star F1
Watermelon Super Star F1 is an early-maturing hybrid characterized by high yield and adaptability to various growing conditions. The vegetation period from seedling transplanting to fruit ripening is 60-65 days, and from seed sowing — approximately 85 days. The plant is warm-loving and drought-tolerant, preferring air temperatures in the range of +25 - +30°C and develops well in nutrient-rich organic soils such as chernozem loamy and sandy soils. For successful seed germination, soil temperature should not be lower than +16°C, and sowing is recommended after soil has warmed to +12°C.

Fruits of watermelon Super Star F1 have round or oval shape with dense orange rind covered with distinct netting. Average fruit weight ranges from 1.4 to 2.3 kg. Flesh is tender, juicy, and has bright orange-pink hue, with excellent taste and aroma, as well as high sugar content. Fruits are segmented into segments, have medium-sized seed cavity, and withstand long-distance transportation when harvested promptly and regularly.

The hybrid is resistant to complex diseases including Fom:2 and stress-tolerant, allowing cultivation both in open and protected ground. Due to its excellent taste and high yield, watermelon Super Star F1 is widely used not only for fresh consumption but also in food industry, for example, in yogurt and salad production. Seeds are supplied ready for sowing, requiring no additional treatment.
