MACABEO

MACABEO F1 is a medium-ripening hybrid of the 'Piel de Sapo' type, intended for cultivation in open ground. The ripening period is 75 to 90 days, allowing for harvest at optimal times. The plant exhibits vigorous and robust growth with long vines and abundant foliage, which contributes to high yields and good fruit development.

The fruits of MACABEO melon are oval-shaped and weigh approximately 2-3 kg. The skin is dark green with distinctly prominent ribs, and the flesh is light cream-colored, dense, and juicy. Inside, there is a small seed chamber. The sugar content in the fruits reaches 15-16%, ensuring excellent taste qualities. The harvest is characterized by good storability and transportability, allowing the fruits to retain freshness and flavor for a prolonged period after harvest.
