MABELLA

Mabella F1 watermelon is a mid-early hybrid from French selection by the company Clause, intended for cultivation both in open ground and under greenhouse conditions. The vegetative period is 65-68 days from seedling transplanting, ensuring early and abundant fruit ripening. The plant exhibits vigorous growth, a strong root system, and dense foliage that reliably protects the fruits from ultraviolet radiation without hindering harvest. The hybrid is resistant to Fusarium wilt and has moderate resistance to false powdery mildew, and it demonstrates good stress tolerance, especially under sunny, warm, and dry weather.

Mabella watermelon fruits have an oval shape and uniform size, reaching a mass of 3-3.5 kg, sometimes exceeding this figure. The fruit skin is dense, thin, and easily separates from the flesh upon full ripening, colored dark orange or yellow with a distinctly dense net pattern. The flesh is light-colored, dense, fragrant, and high in sugar content (14-15%), giving it a very sweet and juicy taste. The peduncle holds firmly, contributing to good fruit preservation during transportation and long-term storage without loss of flavor or commercial quality.

Mabella F1 forms 3 to 5 large fruits per plant, making it a productive and sought-after crop among farmers.
