Radmila F1 Watermelon — an early-maturing, high-yielding hybrid of the Pineapple type, developed by the Turkish seed company Yuksel Tohum. The vegetative period is 60-75 days from transplanting seedlings, allowing for early fruiting. The plant features a medium-dense, long-vining bush with a dense leaf canopy, providing good coverage and protection. The watermelon is resistant to major diseases such as fusarium, powdery mildew, and necrotic spot, and demonstrates tolerance to stressful weather conditions, making it a reliable choice for open-field cultivation. Each plant produces 5-6 uniform, oval-shaped fruits with a bright orange rind covered with fine, rough netting. Average fruit weight is 2-3 kg. The flesh is creamy-yellow or delicate honey-colored, dense and crisp, becoming soft and full of sweet juice upon full ripening. The flavor is characterized by a distinct caramel-honey note, complemented by a rich aroma. Sugar content in the fruits reaches 11-13%, ensuring high sweetness and consumer appeal.
