Description K'YANO
K'YANO F1 — mid-season hybrid of the Pear-shaped melon type, intended for cultivation in both open and protected ground. The plant is characterized by vigorous growth and good development energy, ensuring high yield and resistance to hot climates. The foliage is well-developed, and the compact plant shape promotes efficient use of planting area. The recommended planting density for seedlings is 6-8 thousand plants per hectare.

K'YANO fruits have an oval shape and weigh between 2.5-4.5 kg, with a thin and sparse netted structure on a dark green or light green rind with unique yellow-green undertones. The flesh is white, juicy, crisp, and very sweet, making the hybrid versatile for fresh consumption, canning, processing, juice production, and drying. The seed cavity in the fruits is small, enhancing their market appeal. The fruits possess excellent taste and aroma, are well protected from sunburn, and maintain their qualities for up to 85 days after harvest.

The K'YANO hybrid exhibits high resistance to Fusarium wilt (Fom:0,1,2), necrotic spot virus, and powdery mildew, as well as moderate resistance to other fungal diseases. It withstands temperature fluctuations well and is highly transportable. The yield of marketable fruits under rain-fed conditions reaches 130-202 centners per hectare, exceeding the indicators of standard varieties. All these qualities make K'YANO F1 a reliable and profitable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions.
