Melon Apelsinka

Apelinska melon is an early-maturing mini-melon variety characterized by compact fruit size and high sweetness. The fruits are widely round, resembling a small orange, with rich yellow-orange skin that is often slightly segmented. The flesh is tender, crumbly, and juicy, with a light yellow hue and pleasant honey notes in the flavor, making it especially appealing for fresh consumption, as well as in fruit salads and desserts. The cultivation technology of the Apelinska variety is quite simple and suitable for local consumption. The plant is climbing with small light-green leaves. The fruit mass is about 0.6 kg, and the yield reaches 1.4 kg per square meter. Sowing seeds is recommended in March-April for seedlings, followed by transplanting into open ground in May-June after the threat of frost has passed. For successful cultivation, it is important to form the plant into a single stem, removing side shoots and leaving 2-3 fruits, as well as providing moderate watering, soil loosening, and fertilization. The Apelinska variety is characterized by resistance to diseases and pests, which facilitates care and increases the chances of a good harvest. Due to its taste qualities and decorative appearance, this melon quickly gained popularity among gardeners and consumers. It will become a bright decoration of the garden and holiday table, delighting with its juiciness and rich sweet taste.
