Caribbean King F1 watermelon is a mid-late maturing hybrid of the Harper type, developed by the Dutch company Rijk Zwaan, renowned for its high-quality seed material. The vegetation period ranges from 80 to 110 days depending on growing conditions and technology. The plant is vigorous with a well-developed leafy canopy and strong bush, which ensures high fruit coverage from UV radiation and promotes a healthy microclimate in plantings. The hybrid is resistant to common diseases such as powdery mildew and fusarium, significantly enhancing crop reliability.

Caribbean King watermelon fruits have an oval shape with a dense rind and dense netting, weighing between 2.5 to 3 kg. The flesh is bright orange, juicy, and sweet with sugar content not less than 11-12%, imparting excellent taste qualities. The seed cavity is small, improving consumer properties and facilitating long-term fruit storage up to 1-2 months. Due to its dense rind and good transportability, the watermelon withstands long-distance transportation without quality loss.

Caribbean King F1 is suitable for cultivation both in open fields and under cover, making it versatile for various climatic conditions. The planting density is about 7,000 plants per hectare, ensuring high and stable yield.
