The FLAGMAN shadblow cultivar features a medium-sized bush with upright shoots and medium-sized green leaves. The berries of this cultivar are large, elongated, blue with a characteristic waxy bloom, with an average single berry mass of about 0.9–0.99 grams and a maximum mass of up to 1.42 grams. The berries have a sweet and sour taste, with an average taste rating of 4 points, making them pleasant to eat fresh and process.
The FLAGMAN cultivar is characterized by a medium ripening time and high stable yield, which is approximately 2.4 kg per bush or 5.7 tons per hectare. The berries have low drop loss and a dry detachment from the stem, which facilitates harvest collection. The fruit contains a significant amount of vitamin C (34.03 mg%), sugars (8.37%), and dry matter (14.69%), which increases their nutritional value and versatility.
The FLAGMAN shadblow has high winter hardiness, allowing it to be successfully grown in various climatic conditions.
