Sibilla

Sibilla strawberry is a high-yielding mid-season variety developed by Italian breeders. The plants are tall, compact, and have strong growth vigor. Flower stems are positioned at leaf level or slightly below, ensuring effective pollination and ease of harvest. The variety ripens quickly, producing a uniform crop of large, attractive berries during the period when early varieties have already finished flowering and been harvested.

Sibilla berries have a regular conical shape, glossy surface, and rich red color that gleams beautifully in sunlight. Each berry weighs approximately 40 grams, with juicy, very sweet flesh and a good sugar balance. The berry aroma is of medium intensity, and their density ensures excellent transportability, making this variety attractive for commercial cultivation and sales.

Sibilla is distinguished by its high yield — up to 1.5 kg of large, sweet fruits can be harvested per plant per season. It is resistant to major diseases and stress factors, adapts well to adverse climatic conditions, including the continental climate of Europe’s western part. Additionally, the variety is adaptable to various soils and suitable for organic farming, making it universally practical for cultivation on both farms and private gardens.
