Daylily Zirnitsia

Growing «Zirnytsia» Daylily: A Practical Guide

Developed by the Krivoy Rog Botanical Garden, this daylily variety is a prime example of low-maintenance landscaping. «Zirnytsia» is designed for those who need a reliable, high-performance plant that does not require constant technical intervention or complex care regimes.

Operation and Maintenance

• Light Requirements: Best performance is achieved in partial shade. Direct, harsh sunlight during peak hours can wash out the delicate two-tone pink color, so diffused light is recommended to maintain the visual integrity of the blooms.
• Blooming Cycle: The plant provides a consistent 30-day flowering window. The simple flower structure ensures durability, maintaining its form throughout the period.
• Routine Maintenance: The variety is exceptionally stable. It does not demand frequent division or specialized pruning, making it a sustainable choice for busy gardeners or professional landscapes.

Landscape Integration

«Zirnytsia» is a perfect tool for creating linear plantings, borders, and flower beds. Its compact, tidy growth habit allows it to be easily integrated into mixed borders without overpowering adjacent species. For any gardener looking for a reliable, aesthetically pleasing perennial that delivers results without high operational overhead, this daylily is an ideal candidate for long-term landscaping projects.
