Zirnitsia is a perennial, cold-hardy plant belonging to the Xanthorrhoeaceae family, subfamily Xanthorrhoeoideae. The Zirnitsia lily bush is spreading, with a generative stem reaching 97 to 104 cm in height, rising above light-green leaves that are approximately 58–60 cm long and 1.5 cm wide. The inflorescence is loose, measuring 24–36 cm, and contains a large number of flowers — 145 to 150 per stem, with 5–7 flowers opening simultaneously. Flowering occurs from the first decade of July to the second decade of August, lasting 30–40 days. The flowers are simple, star-shaped, with a diameter of about 11 cm, and have a two-tone coloration in the pink group. The inner tepals are dark lilac-pink with an apricot outer surface, transitioning to dark lilac-pink at the edges. The outer tepals are apricot-colored with a yellowish-brown coating. The flower's throat features an apricot spot, a burgundy halo, and a milk-white central line. The tepal margins are wavy, the inner tepals are smooth, and the pollen is yellow. The flower scent is weak.
