Daylily Elf Rose

Double-flowered elegance from Ukrainian breeders

"Ranok Elfa" is a jewel in the selection portfolio of the M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden. In a market dominated by international varieties, this daylily stands out due to its remarkable adaptability to continental climates. Its primary advantage is the ability to maintain a perfect floral shape even under significant temperature fluctuations.

Why choose this daylily?

• Outstanding winter hardiness: This variety survives harsh winters with temperatures as low as -40°C without loss. Unlike many imported hybrids, it does not require complex covering even in colder regions.
• Pathogen resistance: Natural genetic resistance to powdery mildew reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications, making it ideal for low-maintenance landscapes.
• Aesthetic brilliance: The snow-white double flowers, measuring 12 cm in diameter, feature a dense petal texture. They maintain their freshness in bouquets for a long time, which is rare for daylilies with such floral structures.

Cultivation and usage

This variety thrives in sunny locations, where direct light brings out the purity of its white hue. In partial shade, the plant may stretch, and the double-flowering effect becomes less pronounced. "Ranok Elfa" is perfectly suited for solitary planting on lawns or as a sophisticated element in professional landscape designs for monochromatic "white gardens." Due to its excellent vase life, it is also a viable choice for commercial floriculture.

For gardeners seeking a reliable, low-maintenance, and visually striking flower, this variety is a premier investment. It bypasses the common pitfalls of temperamental exhibition hybrids, offering consistent blooming and high decorative value throughout the entire season.
