Daylily Phoenix

The Phoenix lily is an eye-catching variety with large flowers of about 24 cm in diameter, shaped like a giant UFO. The flowers are pinkish-magenta with a white edge and a large green throat transitioning into a white-yellow eye, creating a bright and attractive contrast. The petals are dense, giving the flowers additional expressiveness and durability. The flower stem reaches a height of 90-95 cm, making the plant a noticeable feature in the garden.

This variety belongs to the spider and UFO groups, characterized by its unusual flower shape. The Phoenix lily has semi-evergreen foliage that retains decorative appeal throughout the season. The flowering period is medium-early, and the number of buds per inflorescence varies from 18 to 25, ensuring prolonged and abundant blooming. The breeder of this variety is Lambertson, who developed it in 2008.

Phoenix is ideal for creating bright accents in flower beds and mixed borders due to its large and expressive flowers. Its tall flower stem and abundant buds allow it to be used as a solitary plant or in group plantings. The semi-evergreen foliage retains the plant’s decorative appeal even after flowering, making it a versatile and attractive choice for gardeners.
