Daylily Mavka

Breeding Heritage of the Kryvyi Rih Botanical Garden

The 'Mavka' daylily is the result of meticulous work by breeders at the Kryvyi Rih Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. This variety embodies the local tradition of decorative plant breeding, perfectly adapted to the regional climate. Developed for conditions that demand resilience and consistent aesthetics, 'Mavka' has earned a reputation as a reliable choice for landscaping.

Agrotechnical Profile

• Plant height: ranges from 70 to 80 cm, making it suitable for both the middle tier of flower beds and creating expressive, lush groups.
• Functional use: the variety is ideal for flower beds, providing dense coverage. Due to its structural characteristics, 'Mavka' functions effectively as a groundcover plant, successfully suppressing weeds in mass plantings.

Choosing this hybrid means investing in proven breeding. Unlike imported novelties that often require specific care, 'Mavka' demonstrates resistance to temperature fluctuations and is low-maintenance, making it a rational solution for both private gardens and municipal park compositions.
